CHEMOTHERAPY OUTREACH PROJECT - PROVIDING CANCER CARE AND SUPPORT IN THE COMMUNITY.
The Chemotherapy Outreach Project aims to enable cancer patients to receive cancer care closer to home.
Currently, this means that many patients can receive their chemotherapy, cancer information and support at local community hospitals in Tavistock, Kingsbridge and Liskeard, preventing a long journey to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth.
Throughout this website, we try to provide useful information and welcome feedback. We'd like to give visitors to our website a sense of how our clinical and information care teams in Kingsbridge, Liskeard and Tavistock support people affected by cancer, much closer to their homes, thanks to generous donations from local communities.
We are enormously grateful to all the people who have run and walked and cycled and knitted and stitched and generally got out of puff and all hot and bothered throughout 2012 to raise money for the Chemotherapy Outreach Project.
We are particularly delighted that Santa took time out from a relaxing evening at Haven Spa and Therapy to have his legs waxed and raise money on our behalf.
