| Why...
|
| People with Cancer living in outlying areas of South Devon and Cornwall, have a very long way to travel for treatment. Derriford Hospital in Plymouth would like to have a mobile team that could travel to cottage hospitals to treat patients near their homes but they do not have the funds.

| What....
|
We are hoping to raise the £80,000 that they would need to employ two senior oncology nurses for a year that would visit hospitals in Kingsbridge, Tavistock and Liskeard. This would make life so much easier for already very sick people who often have to rely on friends or family members to take them, an added stress at an already difficult time.

To raise funds, we held an online auction, auctioning some fantastic items ranging from pop and rock star memorabilia, a holiday in Barbados, jewellery, watches and more...
|
|
|
| In conjunction with the sale of raffle tickets and other fund raising events, we have now raised in excess of £71,000 to date!!!
